Ano Trikala

The highest of the three, on the slope of Mount Ziria. Most of the view guesthouses are here, and it is the starting point for the mountain.

Mesaia Trikala

The commercial heart of the place — the square, most of the shops, and the tavernas that stay open all year, not just weekends.

Kato Trikala

Closer to the plain, quieter. Old stone houses and guesthouses spread across the hillside, with views reaching the Corinthian Gulf.

Stone built to last

Mansions of stone and wood, built in the 16th–18th century, still standing in Ano Trikala. No home here was built in a hurry — the stone walls show it.
